This week Oh So Social founder Katherine George had the honour of speaking at the exclusive launch event for this year’s Cornwall Business Awards.

Taking to the stage at the AeroHub in Newquay, Katherine shared her experience of winning Young Business Person of the Year at the awards in 2016, and exactly how it impacted her and Oh So Social’s growth. From going to a relative unknown to winning such a prestigious accolade helped Oh So Social expand to work with international clients, as well as to go on to win further local and national awards in the coming years.

Katherine also shared her advice to fellow entrepreneurs and small businesses as to why entering awards is so valuable for that much-needed exposure, as well as giving you the confidence that you’re on the right track with your business.
