A New Year often means new starts, changes or resolutions. An easy resolution to make is to improve your social media marketing skills, especially if you’re starting or running your own business.
Why not make 2019 the year you learn with the experts? Here at Oh So Social, we’re offering a variety of half-day training courses focusing on different areas of social media or general marketing which will give you the knowledge to help your business really get results online this year.
We start off in January with two popular courses – Instagram for Business, and Facebook Advertising. Our Instagram training session will give you everything you need to know to successful market your business on the platform, including what makes a great image, the best hashtags and where to find them, and how to create great content which gets seen. The Facebook Advertising course will give you the skills to create successful advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram and get your brand noticed.
February sees us focusing on Tone of Voice and Copywriting. Having a consistent tone of voice is crucial for brands and this course will help you develop yours, from identifying your audience, deciding the personality for your business and how to write consistent and engaging copy for social media, websites and blogs.
In March we are sharing our knowledge on Marketing Strategy. Every business needs a high-performing marketing strategy, and this session will help you develop and utilise your own. This includes identifying your target market and recognising what is working for you in your current marketing; how to structure your marketing plan; and how to evaluate the results of your marketing efforts.
Facebook Groups are growing in popularity, and can be an essential part of social media marketing for a lot of businesses. Our course in March will help you set up and manage your own Facebook Groups for business, including how to schedule posts, content ideas and how to develop paid-for groups.
Finally, in April, we are looking at Social Media Strategy. If you are using social media as part of your marketing plan, then having a separate social media strategy is crucial. You will learn how to audit your social media pages to see what’s working and what isn’t; how to find your audience; what to consider when developing your strategy; and, of course, how to implement it.
These are our current courses for Spring, but we will keep having bi-monthly courses throughout the year focusing on different topics within social media. View all of our upcoming courses on our Training Page.
Why not mix and match the courses that suit your needs, or if you’re unsure – give us a call and we can advise on the best training courses for you and your business.
