We are delighted to share that Oh So Social has been named a semi-finalist an awards programme designed to celebrate the achievements and triumphs of women in business across the South West.
We have been shortlisted in the Employer of the Year category at this year’s West Country Women Awards. Our Director Katherine George has been recognised for her commitment to supporting the Oh So team, from her belief in truly flexible working and healthy work/life balance, through to her advocacy for mental health awareness and support for the team working remotely during the Covid-19 lockdowns.
Katherine said: “I’m really proud that Oh So Social has reached the semi-final of the West Country Women Awards. It’s extremely important to me that my workplace is a happy one, and the wellbeing and development of my fantastic team is crucial. It’s an honour to be recognised as an employer, as well as a female entrepreneur.”
The West Country Women Awards aim to recognise women in business, their achievements and successes in connecting, growing themselves and their businesses. The finalists will be announced at a celebratory event at Powderham Castle, near Exeter, towards the end of October, before the grand final in December.
